How fast the years can pass. It seems like only yesterday we celebrated our inaugural Gala. We aim to support the School’s mission by connecting with and engaging alumni through communications, programs and events. It has been an incredible journey for this alumni association. We continue to maintain and support the various causes and initiatives – the lunch program, tertiary tuition, M.A.H.S. designated tuition scholarship programs, Health Fair, prom dress drive, community outreach programs both in Jamaica and the U.S. We have renovated bathrooms, built and equipped a Computer Resource Center, and last year purchased the school’s very first school bus!
This year (2020) we aim to acquire at least 60 additional computers and an array of software to equip the computer class lab at Mt. Alvernia. Our school on the Hill, stands as a fortress with its fearless leader, Mrs. Stacey Reynolds. This year, Mrs. Reynolds, staff and students will embrace your presence on campus for Homecoming 2020. I invite each one of you to get involved in your own way – the possibilities are endless as we continually seek ways to promote your best interests and designations to keep you engaged with Mt. Alvernia. I would like to personally encourage you to get involved, reach out and connect with us. Remember to update your contact information so we can keep you informed.
